A toto jackpot is won if all or at least three of the numbers in your chosen board are drawn during a particular draw. You can also win steadily smaller prizes if just some of your numbers come up. Toto draws take place every Monday and Thursday at 6.30pm. Sometimes special draws such as the Hong Bao or cascade draw will be held at 9.30pm.
Toto tickets are available at all Singapore Pools outlets. Once you buy a ticket, you will receive a confirmation slip showing the number of numbers you have selected and the wager amount. The winnings will be credited to your account once the draw is complete. It is always a good idea to check your bet slip before you leave the counter in case there are mistakes.
For those who are not familiar with the toto rules, let me break it down for you. When you play toto, you will choose six different numbers from 1 to 49. The company will then draw 6 winning numbers and one additional number. The numbers will be drawn in a random order during the draw.
The winning numbers are randomly selected during each draw and the odds of a particular number combination appearing in any given draw are therefore completely independent of previous results.
